From Policy to Impact: Advancing Universal Health Coverage Through Action on Rare Diseases

Held alongside the 81st United Nations General Assembly and in the lead-up to the High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage, this event will bring together a small group of global health leaders, Member State representatives, Persons Living with a Rare Disease and advocates, as well as representatives from civil society, academia, philanthropy and the private sector.

The discussion will explore how rare diseases can be more effectively integrated into efforts to achieve Universal Health Coverage, and how governments and international partners can translate existing global commitments into meaningful impact for people living with rare diseases and their families.
